Is it free to create a profile?
Yes. Creating your CompliMaint profile is completely free, and there's no obligation to accept any assignment.
Do I need healthcare experience?
No. If you have trade skills — maintenance, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, unit turns — you can join. We handle the healthcare side.
Can I keep my current job?
Yes. Many in our network already work full-time and use CompliMaint for extra income. You stay in control of your availability.
How does pay work?
Assignments generally pay in the $25–$35 per hour range depending on the role and facility, with your exact rate confirmed before you accept any assignment.
Do I have to accept every opportunity?
No. Accept the opportunities that fit your schedule and decline the ones that don't.
How long does it take to join?
Creating your profile takes about two minutes from your phone — no résumé required.
Am I an employee?
Network members who are assigned work are W-2 employees — background checked and drug tested.
Does joining guarantee work?
No. Creating a profile does not guarantee employment or assignments. Opportunities depend on availability, location, and customer demand.
For facility owners
Are you replacing our maintenance department?
No. We provide professional maintenance support when you need additional capacity — vacancies, PTO coverage, surges, backlogs, and projects.
What types of work do you cover?
General maintenance, repairs, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and defined special projects.
How quickly can someone arrive?
It depends on scope and location, but a real person coordinates timing with you — no automated dispatch.
How are professionals screened?
Professional screening, background checks, and drug testing, with standards for appearance, communication, and conduct.
Can we request recurring support?
Yes. We can set up recurring or scheduled support so you have dependable capacity whenever you need it.

What is My Facility?
One record of your building — its state, licence class, capacity, sprinkler status, shifts, equipment and contacts — that every tool reads and writes. Enter it once and the fire drill log, the compliance calendar, the emergency plan and the survey checklist all know it, so the requirements you see are the ones that actually apply to your building rather than a generic list. It is stored on your device, not on our servers.
Does CompliMaint guarantee compliance?
No, and no tool can. We tell you what the published rule says, cite where we read it, and print the document — but generating a document is not the same as being compliant. The filings still have to be filed, the drills still have to be run, the training still has to happen, and your licensing agency and authority having jurisdiction are the only people who decide whether you have met the standard. Where we have not verified a state's rule we say so rather than guessing; a blank is never a finding that nothing is required.
Where is my work saved, and can I lose it?
In your own browser, on the device you used. Nothing you type into a free tool is sent to us. That means it survives closing the tab but not clearing your browser data or switching device — so anything you need to keep, download or print. My Facility has an export that writes everything to one file you can keep or move.
Whose name is on the documents I generate?
Yours, plus a small CompliMaint credit in the footer. The business details, logo and contact information on the document are the ones you enter. Removing the credit entirely is a paid feature we have not launched yet.
Do the citations mean a lawyer checked this?
No. A citation means we read the state's own regulation, statute or licensing-agency page and recorded where the figure came from and when we checked. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for asking your agency. Our coverage and its limits are published at /methodology, including the questions we have not been able to answer.
Most questions have a tool behind them
How long does my landlord have to return the deposit? What can I charge for late rent? What does a unit turn cost? Those are answered by the free tools — each cites the statute for your state where we have verified it, and prints the document at the end.
